MEXICAN RECIPE SHRIMP COCKTAIL

SHRIMP COCKTAIL
INGREDIENTS:
1.65 POUNDS OF RAW AND HEADLESS SHRIMP |
HALF OF AN ONION AND HALF GARLIC |
2 CUPS OF KETCHUP |
1/4 TAZA DE JUGO DE LIM脫N |
SALT AND PEPPER |
1 CUP OF ONION |
1/3 CHOPPED CORIANDER |
1 CHOPPED AVOCADO |
4 LEMON SLICES |
HOT SAUCE |
PROCESS:
1) Rinse the shrimp in a colander with cold tap water. Remove the shell and tail from the shrimp
2)Use a knife to remove the intestine from the shrimp
3)Boil 6 cups of water with half the onion in a large saucepan. Once it starts to boil, add the shrimp and cook for 2 minutes
4)After 2 minutes, remove the pot from the heat and place the shrimp on a sieve to drain. Let them cool down for at least 30 minutes.
5)Put the ketchup in a large bowl, add the lemon juice and season with salt and ground pepper
6)When the shrimp have cooled, put them in glasses and fill the glasses with the previous mixture, add avocado, onion, coriander and add to taste the hot sauce and lemon slices.
